Because every Make and Treasure order is custom-made, delivery includes both production time and, for printed books, shipping time. This page explains how we handle digital delivery, printed orders, timing, and common shipping questions.
Processing times
All Make and Treasure products are made to order. Before an order can be delivered, we may need time to review photos, prepare artwork, confirm details, and, where applicable, print and package the finished product.
Processing time may vary depending on the complexity of your order, the number of images submitted, whether revisions are needed, and current order volume.
Digital delivery
Digital orders are usually delivered by email or download link once production is complete. In many cases, digital orders are prepared within a few business days, but timelines may vary depending on the order details.
If a digital delivery email does not appear, please check spam, junk, promotions, or other filtered folders before contacting us.
Printed orders
Printed books require both production time and shipping time. Once your order is ready for dispatch, delivery timing depends on the shipping carrier, destination, seasonal demand, and any service interruptions outside our control.
Shipping charges, if any, should be shown during checkout or before final order confirmation.
Delivery estimates
Any production or shipping timeline we provide is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date, unless we explicitly confirm a guaranteed service in writing.
If you need a book for a birthday, holiday, or special event, please contact us before ordering so we can tell you whether your timeline looks realistic.
Address accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for delays, failed delivery, or extra shipping costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address submitted at checkout.
If you notice an address mistake after ordering, contact us immediately. We may be able to update it if the order has not yet shipped.
International orders
If international shipping is offered, delivery times may be longer and customs, import duties, taxes, or local handling fees may apply depending on the destination country.
These charges are typically the responsibility of the customer unless we clearly state otherwise.
Delays
Delays can sometimes happen for reasons outside our direct control, including:
- Carrier disruptions or postal delays
- Public holidays or peak seasonal demand
- Incomplete customer information or delayed approvals
- Production issues that require correction before shipping
- Weather events, customs inspections, or service interruptions
Lost or missing packages
If your printed order appears to be lost or has not arrived within a reasonable time after dispatch, contact us at hello@makeandtreasure.com with your order details.
We may ask you to wait a short additional period while the shipment is checked with the carrier. Where appropriate, we may offer a replacement or another resolution after reviewing the situation.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top.
